“Overdeliver” isn’t a word you hear often in Napa, where wine acolytes are accustomed to paying top dollar for top wines. But Royal Prince co-founders David Green and Maayan Koschitzky count topflight wineries such as Dana Estates, Vice Versa, and Lail vineyards among their past successes – which makes it hard for them to unlearn premium techniques even at the $30 to $40 price point. Their inaugural slate includes a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a Sonoma Pinot Noir, and then a Chardonnay and Rosé under the “Royal Princess” label.
